Good morning!

Here is a surprise for you all:

Something just came to me and I decided to record, and upload. I will make another video, but do not know when I will upload it. It will probably be next month when I am in Japan with clips from Week 10 and Finals at UCSD. Also, I am republishing all my old videos from 2 years ago for you to all enjoy. I need to start listening to me two years ago again, he was spitting, but also naive. He thought transferring to a UC would solve all his problems and he is learning the hard way that is not the case. Wow! Typing and talking about myself in the third-person feels so self-conceited, but if I write about my life and what I do every week, does that make me a narcissist?

Moving along, Week 10 is here, and I have arrived at the final week of the quarter.

It has been a quick, rough, and brutal journey, but I am just ready for it to be over.

I just have to push through this week and finals to get on the other side. Last quarter's finals haunt me, but I will not let it destroy me. I must win because I do not know if I will be able to forgive myself in the event it happens again. That long car ride home and break was just brutal, and I do not want to carry those feelings to Japan. My first final is this Saturday at 8 AM for data science, which is criminal, but it was like that for me last quarter, so by now, I am used to it.

Daylight savings is finally come to an end! I love that the weather is getting warmer and the sunsets are getting later. It only sucks that I will not be here for Spring and Summer quarter to enjoy it. Who am I kidding though? I do not think I want to put myself through another quarter this school year. I just need to reset and rediscover myself for 6 months in Kyoto. Whenever life gets overwhelming, just head to Japan is my philosophy.

UFC 326 was great! I am bummed about Holloway losing, but the "Blessed Express" will be back and I will be back. Supper happy for Oliveira, you can not hate him at all, such a well-rounded athlete and individual. Oliveira put on a master class of pure domination on all fronts. That fight just makes you think how much of a monster Ilia Topuria is to sleep both of them. Topuria is going to sleep Gaethje on the south lawn at The White House on the Freedom 250 card. Freedom 250 card will feed families, such a shame Jon Jones is not on it, but there is no way Dana White will allow him to fight Pereira. The thought of Pereira becoming triple champion gets me emotional. I know it is for the interim belt, but Aspinall is pretty much done. Chama!

The work definitely died down in Week 9, so it was nice finally being able to catch my breath and relax. Boxing classes ended, which made me pretty bummed because I really enjoyed it. Being able to just let out every pent-up frustration onto the bag for an hour was very cathartic for me. I gained a few insights into myself, life, discipline, and commitment in just 4-weeks for $10. It was funny seeing how the class died down progressively over the weeks. There were 12 originally, 8 the next week, 4 the week after, then 2 in the last week. I take pride that I was one of the 2 remaining. Despite being chewed out the most, the slowest, I made an effort to show up on time every class, every week. I was like Po from Kung-Fu Panda to my coach in this clip:

You do not start things, you do not finish, you must be committed. That is the philosophy I live and what I want to be known as, someone who is "committed." Committed to myself, achieving my goals and ambitions despite how out of reach they may seem, and most importantly committed to being a decent human-being. Doing right by the people who do right by me.

Good news, I have got a new code for Torrey Pines Driving Range and I have been abusing it during my down time. I have come to terms that I am officially washed. My explore page is just full of golf, air-fryer meals, running, and lifting. I can not believe I found myself watching old Tiger highlights late at night, but I think that is just what happens when you get to college or university and age out of youth sports. Although I miss going to the rink everyday, seeing and competing with the boys, I am glad I have found joy in other things. When you get your golf swing down, your cortisol is at an all time low, and you have achieved peak levels of satisfaction, but I found you can apply that to everything. I will tell you when the logic of my Python code and circuit makes sense, I genuinely enter flow state, and become so happy when I get the right answers. It just sucks to be horrible at it in the beginning, but with time and practice, I will be better.

Do not have that much to add about how last week went, so I am going to wrap it up here. Checkout the video of the week on my home page, but also check this one too:

This video had me choked out, beautifully written, but the Soul just hit right at home for me.

Before I wrap, I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out and checked up on me, it means the world, and hopefully I can return the favor to you all. As always stay safe, be good to each other, check up on each other, and Godspeed!

See you next week!
