Our train from Hangzhou back to Shanghai was at 5:15 PM. We got to Shanghai Station around 6:00 PM.
Only in China, KFC sells boba, I guess! 🤷♂️ It's Boba Suckin' Good!
Originally we were going to head back to the hotel, but the weather cleared up, so we decided to head to Qibao Old Street.
The public transit in Shanghai is superb, we were actually able to get digital metro passes, and ride the transit!
Qibao Old Street had some interesting signage and stores! Here are the photos:
I still believe Taiwan has the best street food, but I had a friend show me around, so I could have eaten the wrong food on Chinese street foods!
We left Qibao Old Street around 8:30 PM, and headed to a nearby mall for a Shanghainese dinner.
The chicken was super-cold, tasted almost raw, and frankly was not it. I was not that mad about it because as the Anthony Bourdain said:
"Don't be afraid to eat a bad meal. If you do not risk the bad meal, you will never get the magical one."
Anthony Bourdain has one of the greatest philosophies on life. Such a shame he took his life, awfully sad how the most beautiful are also the most broken.
Unexpected transition, after dinner, we headed back to the hotel, and passed out.
